As they continue to enhance their service offerings, they are seeking a Contract Manager to join their team in Eugene, OR. This role is crucial in managing and optimizing their provider contracts to ensure comprehensive service coverage and adherence to policies and standards.

What YOU get to DO at this growing company:

  • Lead, negotiate, and manage contracting activities with commercial and public insurance entities.
  • Develop and maintain a contract matrix to track key contract details, obligations, milestones, and compliance requirements, ensuring efficient contract management and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee provider contracting activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies, standards, government laws, and regulations.
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize contract value, including negotiating better rates and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Audit Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) to verify insurance compliance with contracts.
  • Work closely with multiple teams, including billing, finance, and management, to ensure that contract terms are fully understood and executed.
  • Utilize strong data management skills to manipulate and analyze contract-related data.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement methodologies including RBRVS, Medicare, Medicaid, alternative payment models, and value-based incentives.
  • Strong Excel skills. 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
