Director of Business Development

As they continue growing, they are looking for an experienced, results-driven Business Development Director to lead strategic initiatives, drive adoption of real-time analytics, and expand use cases across key segments. This role involves fostering strategic customer relationships, executing Proof-of-Concept projects, and delivering innovative solutions while managing opportunities and engagements with a proactive, “hunter” mindset.
What YOU get to DO in this high-profile position:
- Identify and develop new real-time analytics use cases, driving adoption in HPC, automotive, and mobile/RF segments.
- Build and maintain strategic customer relationships with key stakeholders across engineering, IT, and executive teams.
- Develop and execute account-specific strategies, including PoC proposals and engagement plans.
- Articulate product knowledge and competitive value propositions in customer-facing presentations.
- Manage customer expectations and oversee PoC project execution to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with sales teams to close deals, meet revenue targets, and secure design wins.
- Negotiate and develop customer-specific agreements in partnership with legal and marketing teams.
- Provide regular updates and reports on customer engagement, project progress, and account performance.
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:
- Proven experience in enterprise software sales, particularly within semiconductor or related ecosystems.
- Track record of success in consultative and strategic solution selling with high-value deals.
- Expertise in managing PoC projects and customer engagements with urgency and accountability.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML-driven product benefits and prioritization of business opportunities.
- Familiarity with GRC frameworks and cloud-based analytics infrastructure.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Fluency in English and additional languages (e.g., Chinese, Japanese, German) is a plus.

INDSJExpectations for the ACS BD Role
• Scope: a hunter to enable new real-time analytics use cases, drive adoption of ACS RTDI, build strategic relationships and drive revenue growth with customers
• Focus on HPC (#1), automotive (#2) and mobile/RF (#3) segments: optimized based by customer needs, technology fit, and account situation
• Ability to articulate RTDI product knowledge & value proposition and filter business opportunities o With limited engineering resources, we need to prioritize and manage the expectations o Ability to highlight RTDI advantages against competition
• Support account specific winning strategy and engagement plan
• KPI: o Drive customer’s demand for real-time analytics o Design win value for each new PoC (for 3 years) – more apps and more devices o On-time PoC project execution (supervise) – sense of urgency to drive progress o RTDI renewal rate o Account revenue plan o Solid and lasting customer relationships 2
• Enable “High touch” customer engagement with weekly status update o Go beyond testing team, approach and build strong working relationships with PE, IT, data science team, and customer executives
• Deliver high quality account specific presentation o Use standard ACS template and apply customer logo to the slide deck (upper right corner)
• Manage customer expectations for the PoC plan (milestones, acceptance criteria, PoC environments, commercial terms, pricing); detail schedule and execution by PMO
• Secure customer design wins and work with account sales to close business deals
• Eval order and demand fulfillment
• Develop customer specific (fabless/IDM/OSAT) agreements – work with legal and marketing teams
• Production order forecast
• Weekly report• Commitment for each new account: spend at least for 6 ~12 months to close a deal
