As they continue to grow, they are looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to lead safety, health, and environmental programs at manufacturing facilities. This role ensures compliance with EH&S standards and regulatory requirements while fostering a strong safety culture. Responsibilities include collaborating with leadership and employees to implement safety initiatives, develop action plans, and maintain OSHA compliance. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong problem-solving skills and expertise in manufacturing safety and environmental regulations.

What YOU get to DO in this high-profile position:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee site-specific safety programs, including LOTO, Confined Space, Electrical Safety, Fall Protection, and Powered Industrial Trucks.
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead safety initiatives, including EH&S committee meetings, safety equipment inspections, PPE management, and regular safety walkthroughs.
  • Provide or facilitate employee safety training using corporate safety materials and site-specific content, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company EH&S standards.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve safety performance.
  • Manage and report monthly safety performance metrics on the corporate EH&S platform.
  • Oversee environmental compliance programs, including stormwater management, spill reporting, and waste disposal.
  • Lead the emergency response team, ensuring preparedness for incidents and crisis situations.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Engineering (preferred)
  • 3+ years of EH&S management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to create structured safety processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
