As they continue growing, they are looking for a Portfolio Accounting Analyst to join their team in Dallas. The Portfolio Accounting team is dedicated to supporting investment and accounting activities across private equity, hybrid, and liquid credit funds. This role will be a key part of a growing team in a dynamic, entrepreneurial work environment.

What YOU get to DO at this growing company:

  • Collaborate with the Operations and Accounting teams to support, document, and reconcile investment and cash activities.
  • Conduct investment, cash, and custody reconciliations with fund administrators, addressing any discrepancies.
  • Monitor investment pipelines.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate recording of fund investments in accounting and other key systems.
  • Assist in producing daily and monthly reports for all Investment Professionals and Management.
  • Participate in various special projects, both operational and financial, and compile a variety of special reports.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

  • 2-5 years of accounting experience in private equity, hedge funds, or alternative assets
  • Proficiency in Advent Geneva and/or Allvue Everest preferred
  • Strong accounting, Excel, and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of industry rules and practices
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, proactive, and deadline-focused
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated team player with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
