Electrical Engineer

Our client is a consulting firm that specializes in electrical engineering solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. As the company continues to expand, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team. The selected candidates will be responsible for managing multiple engineering projects, collaborating with junior staff, and ensuring the successful completion of electrical system designs. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, communication skills, and project management abilities to effectively support the firm’s consulting services.

- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for a variety of projects.
- Conduct electrical load calculations, equipment sizing, and power distribution analysis.
- Collaborate with junior engineers and designers to provide mentorship and technical guidance.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications for project submissions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to align project objectives.
- Conduct field visits and inspections to assess site conditions and oversee installations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical design principles, systems, and software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Proven experience in managing electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to perform electrical calculations and develop detailed designs efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced consulting environment.
