Principal Software Developer

Our client is a mission-driven organization based in Austin, Texas, providing critical infrastructure services that impact communities across the state. They are currently seeking a Certified Oracle Utilities Developer to join a highly skilled Market Systems team supporting enterprise-scale billing and data management systems.
This is a strategic opportunity for an experienced developer with Oracle Utilities CCS, C2M, or MDM expertise to take on an essential role in developing, customizing, and integrating critical systems.
What YOU get to DO at this growing company:

Customize and configure Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service (CCS) for wholesale and transmission billing applications.

Design and implement integrations between CCS and various internal or third-party applications.

Manage the full lifecycle of enhancements, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Develop detailed technical and user documentation for new solutions and updates to existing systems.

Support continuous improvements of Oracle Utilities configurations and performance.

Contribute to solution design as a subject matter expert in Oracle Utilities MDM and related modules.
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

12 or more years of experience in software development, including application coding and system integration. (Relevant degrees may substitute for some years of experience per organizational policy.)

8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities products (CCS, C2M, MDM), including underlying data models and integration capabilities.

Demonstrated knowledge of meter-to-cash workflows and billing operations.

Experience with the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and cloud-based deployments.

Strong SQL skills and experience working with complex, data-intensive systems.

Full lifecycle implementation experience for Oracle Utilities applications.

Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation.

Effective collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred (but not required):

Oracle Utilities MDM Implementation Certification.

Other Oracle-related certifications.

Prior experience serving as an MDM Solution Architect or Systems Integration Lead.

Knowledge of alternative MDM solutions in the market.
