Quality Assurance Manager

As they continue growing, they are looking for a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality programs, oversee QA/QC processes, and drive team performance in Lake Forest, CA. This role supports high-performance electronic test systems for the global semiconductor industry, ensuring product excellence and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.
What YOU get to DO in this high-profile position:
- Manage and enhance QA/QC programs, including quality inspections, issue resolution, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Oversee quality processes, tools, and documentation to ensure continuous improvement.
- Set objectives and KPIs for the quality team, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and clarify roles and responsibilities within the team.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams (Operations, Field Service, Global QA) and strategic customers.
- Prepare annual expense proposals for training, certifications, and resources.
- Report regularly to upper management on quality metrics, team performance, and key initiatives.
- Handle additional responsibilities as assigned to support organizational needs.
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field or related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Quality Manager role, with semiconductor industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency in QA methodologies (CAR/8D reporting, SPC, KPIs, 5S practices) and product validation.
- Strong knowledge of failure analysis and quality issues in mechanical, electrical, and thermal applications.
- Experience with supplier quality activities and ATE production is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a proactive approach to quality management.
- Ability to work on-site in Lake Forest, CA, with domestic and international travel as needed.
