Reliability Engineer

Our client is a global leader in the industrial technology sector, specializing in solutions for the fueling and mobility industries. They are recognized for their innovation, reliability, and strong customer relationships, with a long-standing presence in the market.
As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer. This role will be essential in managing the reliability lifecycle of our client’s products, from initial concept to field operations. The Senior Reliability Engineer will implement Design for Reliability (DFR) tools and lead advanced quality planning across cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet and exceed reliability targets.
What YOU get to DO in this high-profile position:
- Lead reliability engineering activities from concept through production for new and existing products.
- Execute Advanced Quality Planning and Design for Reliability processes across complex product programs.
- Facilitate cross-functional FMEA sessions and validation test planning.
- Define and implement Quality and Reliability Plans for components, assemblies, and systems.
- Analyze field usage and environmental conditions to inform testing and requirement development.
- Develop reliability models using fault trees, block diagrams, and life data analysis (e.g., Weibull).
- Conduct failure analysis (testing and field data), drive root cause resolution, and improve future design.
- Mentor engineers in reliability methodologies and manage the FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System) process.
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering (or Physics); 8+ years of experience preferred.
- Strong experience applying DFR tools and reliability engineering in electro-mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in statistical tools/software (JMP, Minitab) and reliability tools (Weibull++, RGA, xFMEA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through quality and reliability planning.
- Knowledge of failure analysis techniques: SEM, CSAM, X-ray, cross-sectioning, EDX, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Certifications such as ASQ Certified Reliability or Quality Engineer are desirable but not required.
