Sales Director

As they continue to grow, they are looking for a Sales Director for their Customer Experience team. This role involves generating new business and building relationships with dealerships and dealer groups. Key responsibilities include leading sales activities, utilizing the MEDDIC methodology for dealer qualification, conducting product demonstrations, and driving revenue growth through acquisition and upselling. The Sales Director will also collaborate with the Sales team on growth strategies, maintain opportunity tracking, and act as the voice of the customer to enhance value and revenue strategies.

- Actively acquire new business and strengthen relationships with key automotive dealers.
- Identify prospects and growth opportunities while developing sales plans and forecasts for both short—and long-term goals; lead strategic sales and customer acquisition efforts.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to implement effective growth strategies, oversee contract negotiations to achieve revenue goals, and maintain strong relationships with existing dealerships to enhance retention and generate referrals.
- Master product offerings, leading the creation of standardized communications, and ensuring accurate tracking and management of sales processes in Salesforce (SFDC).
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:
- Familiar with automotive retail operations and capable of resolving complex situations to foster client loyalty.
- 5+ years of outside sales experience selling complex solutions to automotive dealerships or OEMs, a robust network of dealership contacts, and the ability to travel up to 50%.
- Experience with consultative solution selling, a proven B2B sales track record, and a college degree are also essential.
- SaaS experience in the automotive industry, knowledge of fleet management, and familiarity with Salesforce.com are preferred.
