Senior Financial Planner

As they continue to grow they are looking for a Senior Financial Planner to manage prospective client engagements, onboard new clients, lead and mentor a client-facing team, and contribute to the firm’s growth. The role requires extensive experience in tax, legal, investments, insurance, cash flow, and private investments/real estate, specifically for business owners and entrepreneurs, with a preference for experience working with early-stage or serial entrepreneurs.

- Deliver measurable value outcomes to both new prospects and existing clients by working closely with them to understand and implement financial plans.
- Responsible for guiding clients through the financial planning process, ensuring they stay on track, and managing client expectations and deliverables.
- This role combines strategic financial planning, project management, and mentoring a client-facing team.
- Key tasks include analyzing client financial situations, collaborating with external professionals, delivering advice via calls or video meetings, tracking client referrals, and contributing to the firm’s infrastructure development.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance, economics, or engineering.
- An advanced degree or certifications such as CFP, CFA, MBA, ChFC, CPA, EA, or JD/LLM.
- 10+ years of progressive client-facing experience in investment management, wealth management, or financial planning.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and planning, experience working with business owners and entrepreneurs, and strong project management skills.
- Experience managing small teams to support high-net-worth clients, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with financial software like eMoney and Redtail.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential, along with the ability to meet deadlines and manage client expectations effectively.
