As they continue growing, they are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Vehicle Telematics with telematics experience. The ideal candidate should be proficient in working with cloud platforms, possess a deep understanding of telematics frameworks and libraries, and be enthusiastic about mastering new technologies.

  • Develop and sustain advanced telematics solutions for vehicle health and monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate as an integral member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team to iteratively deliver new product increments.
  • Build and uphold scalable infrastructure using modern cloud platforms.
  • Integrate telematics data with the existing fleet management platform.
  • Write tests and documentation while implementing features with your team.
  • Stay current with emerging telematics technologies and tools.

 
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

  • 5+ years of experience in vehicle telematics and related technologies, developing high-performing, scalable, and resilient solutions.
  • Proficient in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Ruby, Node.js), with strong understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience in integrating telematics data with web and mobile applications, and solid grasp of core web and browser concepts.
  • Expert in system design, data structures, algorithms, and advanced SQL/MySQL queries. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proven leadership in managing development lifecycles, directing solutions for complex problems, and delivering projects through team collaboration. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, humble approach to work.
