Sr Product Designer

Our client is looking for TWO Sr. UI/UX Product Designers to work remotely, in collaboration with their existing Design teams for special projects. The company specializes in technology solutions tailored for the multiple niche sectors. Their range of products is crafted to optimize operational efficiency and elevate customer satisfaction within the storage, marina, insurance, parks, campsites & RV park industries, to name a few.

As they continue to grow, they are seeking TWO creative, energetic Senior Product Designers Contractors/Consultants to start as soon as possible.

Project 1: This Sr. UI/UX Product Design Contractor will be focusing on paring down a b2b product in order to appeal to and make accessible to a much smaller business segment in the parks, camping and RV park market. This is a 12+ month contract

Project 2: This Sr. UI/UX Product Design Contractor will have strong B2C experience with research experience and understanding of marketplace interface and user experience best practices in order to redesign an interface and user experience that is consistent, delightful, and effective in achieving targeted business outcomes. This is a 4-6+ month contract

What YOU get to DO at this growing company:

• Lead user-centered design by researching, conceptualizing, and delivering effective and valuable consumer software experiences.
• Develop design tools such as sketches, storyboards, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to simplify complexity and explore ideas quickly.
• Leverage qualitative and quantitative data by partnering with product teams to conduct research rounds, analyze customer insights, and validate design decisions.
• Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and stakeholders to generate all final designs, documentation, and assets for product launches.
• Deeply understand user behavior and help teams develop insights into the needs and expectations of our B2B2C users.
• Contribute to and evolve our design system by maintaining consistency and enhancing UI usability and accessibility.
• Actively participate in agile processes, including planning sessions, retrospectives, and evaluations to assess team progress and challenges.
• Collaborate with fellow Product Designers, exchanging ideas, providing feedback, and inspiring innovation.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

• 5+ years of digital product design experience, with a strong focus on user experience and interface design.
• Experience designing B2B and/or B2C digital solution software, ideally in the hospitality or service industry. Storage, RV park/campsite industry experience a big plus.
• A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions (required for consideration).
• Mastery of product design including the ability to map complex user flows, create seamless interactions, and oversee implementation with engineering teams.
• Strong collaboration skills, facilitating, leading, and building consensus among cross-functional teams.
• Passion for user research, with the ability to empathize and advocate for end-users.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
• Attentive listening skills, with the ability to read between the lines and anticipate user needs.

Bonus Points:
● Comfortable with Figma, Miro, Pendo, Google Analytics, Jira
● Previous experience doing UX research
● Previous experience building or managing a pattern library
● Desire to mentor other Product Designers
● Enjoys pranking and infusing fun into the day
