Vice President of Engineering

As we experience rapid growth, we are seeking a VP of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization, drive technical strategy, and ensure our platform remains best-in-class.

Role Overview:
The VP of Engineering will be responsible for scaling and leading our engineering team through rapid growth. This individual must be familiar with JavaScript, Node.js, and MongoDB and have a strong track record of building and managing high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and scale Engineering Teams—Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent, growing the team efficiently while maintaining a strong engineering culture.
  • Technical Leadership – Provide strategic direction for the platform’s architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Hands-on Oversight – Guide engineering teams in best practices for software development, CI/CD, and DevOps, ensuring rapid yet reliable releases.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration – Partner closely with Product, Design, and GTM teams to align technical roadmaps with business objectives.
  • Process Optimization – Establish and refine agile development processes to improve software delivery speed and quality.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success scaling engineering teams rapidly in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Understanding of test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
  • Track record of driving high-impact technical decisions and architectural improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence executive teams and stakeholders.
  • Passion for building a strong engineering culture that fosters innovation, collaboration, and growth.
