Director of Financial Services Damien Richburg, CFA, hired to lead recruitAbility’s new practice
Austin, TX (October 5, 2020) — recruitAbility, a leading recruiting and consulting firm with a focus in employee engagement and retention, today announced that it is launching a practice focused on finance and accounting direct hires and contract services.
Leading this specialty is recruitAbility Director of Financial Services Damien Richburg, CFA, who brings nearly a decade of experience in the recruiting and financial services sectors.

Damien previously served as an Assistant Vice President at a publicly traded global recruiting firm in Austin. He has partnered with more than 100 businesses and interviewed more than 1,500 finance and accounting professionals, which allows him to provide in-depth consulting knowledge and a streamlined hiring process.

Outside of the office, Damien stays active in the Austin community. He serves on the board of the Austin Chapter of the National Black MBA Association as its President, and is an Advisory Board Member for the Huston-Tillotson University School of Business and Technology. He also is an active member of The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) – Austin Chapter.
Originally from New Jersey, Damien holds a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. In his free time, he enjoys creating memories with his wife and kids, grueling CrossFit workouts, and adding to his ever-increasing list of successful home renovation projects.
